The Blue Tigers are on verge of creating another history. According to FootballRankingsInfo India are expected to jump a place to 100 in next months FIFA rankings.
This will be the first time since February 1996 India will be amongst the top 100 teams in the FIFA rankings. The next rankings are expected to be out on the 4th of May.
India have won 11 of their last 13 games (including an unofficial match against Bhutan) which has a significant effect on the Blue Tigers rise in the FIFA Rankings
Another factor in India’s rise is the fact they didn’t play any friendly in 2016 after the victory against Puerto Rico.
