India U22 football team that is going to participate in the inaugural AFC U22 Campionship 2014 qualifiers will finally keep its date with Dubai.

The team has already toured 2 cities for preparation. Initially there was a short camp held in Bangalore from where they were supposed to tour Dubai.

But the Dubai tour got cancelled and they are currently practicing in New Delhi with major interruption by the heat wave.

But the AIFF finally managed to arrange the Dubai trip which will be of 8 days. India plays all of its qualifier matches starting from 23rd June in Oman. So it will be ideal to prepare in Dubai which has similar conditions.

Indian football team will fly to Dubai on 14th June and will stay there till 21st when they will fly to Oman.

India will be hosted by the Al Wasl football club. Incidentally, the coach of the Al Wasl is none other than the legendary Diego Maradona.

Meanwhile, Jeje is still to recover from his ankle injury and is extremely doubtful for the AFC U22 Championship qualifiers.
