East Bengal signs TFA cadets Manash Sarkar, Baidyanath Das and Deepak Tirkey
As the current Indian football season nears its ending, the transfer market has started to heat up and East Bengal have bagged three of the current batch of TFA cadets for the upcoming season.
Manash Sarkar plays as a striker and is 19 years old. His 6’4” height is unmatched by any striker currently playing in the I-league as only Robin Singh comes distant close with just above 6 feet height.
Baidyanath Das is a promising defender while Deepak Tirkey plays in the midfield. Both are 20 years old.
Mohun Bagan is in talks with Sony Norde of Dhonmundi Football Club in Bangladesh. It is also learnt that Mohun Bagan are in all probability not going to renew the contract with injury prone Odafa Okolie. His agent is in touch with Bengaluru FC and Pune FC officials.
Ranty Martins is almost sure to play in Kolkata next season and will be seen in the Green & Maroon colors. The final negotiations are going on between Ranty and Mohun Bagan officials.
