FC Pune City are in talks with AFC Asian Cup winning coach Jorvan Vieira after sacking Antonio Lopez Habas. Vieira won the 2007 AFC Asian Cup with Iraq.
Habas reportedly had fallen out with FC Pune City’s management which eventually led to this sacking. The club was in talks with various candidates to replace Habas and have reportedly zeroed in on Jorvan Vieira.
Vierra has over 30 years of experience in coaching, mostly in Asia and Egypt,He has managed clubs in Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He was last in charge of Egyptian club Smouha SC.
