India vs Tajikistan : Tajikistan starts its training camp

Tajikistan football team has started its preparations for the international friendly match against Indian football team. Tajikistan, ranked 106 in the current FIFA rankings, will be playing a friendly match against in on 14th August in Khujand, Tajikistan.

Tajikistan has recently appointed Mukhsin Mukhamadiev as their coach. The match against India would be the first assignment for the 46 year coach. The current training camp, held in Tursunzoda, started on 17th July and will continue till 28th July.

While Indian coach has only named the probable Indian football squad, Tajikistan has already finalized a 23-man squad. The team has a new look, with some of their top players not included either due to injury or rested. Indian coach, Wim Koevermans, would hope that the Indian players are keeping themselves fit in the pre-season camps of their respective clubs.
