After a week-long pause, the rivalries of Premier League is set to resume with a bang as defending Champions Manchester City welcome a visibly moderate Spurs side at Etihad. Chelsea will surely hold the place at the top as they are 5 points clear of second placed City. Arsenal will try to revamp in absence of Ozil and get back onto winning ways whereas Manchester United will look forward to keep up their good work. On the eve of another thrilling Gameweek, we take our time to pick the probable stars of the coming days-

Defenders and Goal-keepers

Most of the top clubs are going to have an easy breathe this weekend. West Ham united, Chelsea, Manchester United or may be Everton can keep the worthy clean sheet. Clearly, it will be a point fest for the defenders from these sides.

Ivanovic (7.3) can again prove to be a real bargain like he gifted bags of points earlier in the summer. Tomkins or Reid (5) can be the low budget trumps this time. Apart from that, Rafael (5.3) or Shaw (5.8) have both shown sparks down the flank and are expected to deliver something fruitful in the point zone.

Citizens’ skipper Vincent Kompany and side back Zabaleta will also have enough possibilities to be on this week’s dream team.

Midfielders

Icelander no. 10 Gylfi Sigurdsson (6.8) is in the form of his life and his side will depend a lot on him to get past a solid Stoke defence. Dyer, Routledge and Moses will be the other players to watch out for in this fixture.

Di Maria (10.1) can rattle through a shaky Baggies’ defence to bring home some points in two digits. Mata will not also be a lot behind him as he will be on a more attacking role in absence of Rooney. Fabregas (9.6) and Sterling (9.0) will be the other reliable players to have in your team.

Sanchez (10.3) and Silva (9.1) have not fired yet and they will be poised to stay up to their reputations. Downing (5.6), Chadli (6.4) and Diame (5.4) have the potential to gift more points than their price.

Forwards

Diafra Sakho west hamA new name emerged in the past two Gameweeks to be considered as a reliable striking option. Diafra Sakho, priced at just 5.6, scored in all of his last 3 appearances for West Ham and the French attacker can claim a place in the Fantasy team-sheet pretty soon.

Diego Costa, Aguero, Falcao and Pelle all are among goals. As predicted, they are acquired by a large class of fantasy managers. Ulloa (6.0) and Welbeck (7.3) can find themselves in the scoring list this time around after a not-so-impressive display last time.

Transfer tips

Ozil is a new addition to Arsenal’s long injury list and he needs to be replaced with Sterling or Fabregas. Instead of injured Herrera, Tadic could be a great bet. To reap good benefits from cheaper midfielders, one should bring in Downing as the creative midfielder is assisting on a regular basis

Captain tips

Angel di maria man unitedCosta, Aguero, Falcao and Di Maria – all are really potent candidates for captain this gameweek.

Again to try a little bit of your luck, one can hand over Luke Shaw or Zabaleta the charge of captaincy.
