Brazil’s poster boy Neymar kicked off the world cup campaign with 2 goals against Croatia in their 1st match but he was unable to repeat his performance against a defiant Mexican team. Neymar will need support up front to give his team more opportunities to score goals.
Brazilian defense is termed as the best defense playing in the world cup. Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, David Luiz and Marcelo will once again share the responsibility of protecting their goal post. Dani Alves and Marcelo, who are natural attackers will look to go deep in the opposition half when attacking from the wide side while Paulinho and Luis Gustavo, the two central defending midfielders will fall back to cover Silva and Luiz at backline.
Oscar and Ramirez will play in a attacking role. Both will look to change their position from central to flank side, to create empty space in the midfield.
Fred, who did not impress in the last game against Cameroon is expected to be replaced by Hulk for this match. Neymar will play in a free position in the forward line.
Key player: Neymar will once again be the key player for Brazil. Brazil will look to grab the top spot in this group by winning in this match and they will also want Neymar to get his name on the scoresheet.
Team News Cameroon:
Cameroons world cup dream is already over but it will be an opportunity for this team to go out and play freely for the last time in this competition.
The Cameroon team looked extremely untidy in their last game against Croatia. The Croatian forward were literally toying the Cameroon defence throughout the game. If there defencive play does not improve then they will be subject to more humiliation in this match as well.
Their senior player Alex Song showed extreme carelessness in his approach as he was sent off in the 40th minute which forced them to play the entire 2nd half with 10 players.
Their midfielders Moukandjo, Aboubacker, Moting will have to take the responsibility to salvage their pride in this game. It will be a difficult game but they will have to go out with a positive attitude.
Experienced defenders Ekotto and Embia will be facing the task to stop Neymar and co from intruding into their penalty area. The Cameroon defence line will look to maintain a high line to disallow the Brazilian forwards to sit deep in their half. But this will also make them vulnerable in counter attacking scenario.
Key Player: Aboubacker will be the main player for Cameroon in this match. known for his playmaking ability he will have to lead the Cameroon attack to penetrate through the strong Brazilian defence.
Predicted score: Brazil will look to crush the already rattled Cameroon defence. if Neymar fires Brazil are expected to win this game by a big margin of 4-0.
