Man City vs Sunderland Match Postponed Due To Bad Weather
The match has been postponed for a later date due to heavy rain and wind.
Manchester City will host Sunderland after suffering two back to back shocking results which have put a dent in their otherwise illustrious EPL title campaign.
City suffered a 1-0 loss against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium and followed it by a shock goalless draw against lowly Norwich City. Technically Sunderland are of the same caliber as Sunderland.
ManC are currently at the third position behind Chelsea and Arsenal with 54 points and Chelsea have played their match this round. Arsenal will be simultaneously playing Man United and the results of both these matches will decide how the table would look like at the end of this round.
Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho who are suffering from hamstring and thigh injuries respectively would take another week to heal, as per Manuel Pellegrini the manager. amir Nasri, Javi Garcia and Matija Nastasic would also be unavailable due to injuries while Yaya Toure has escaped suspension for his violent conduct and would be seen playing today.
Sunderland would miss Wes Brown for he has been served two-match ban after seeing a red card against Hull City. Santiago Vergini, their January signing, could get his first start today.
