In their first encounter, India defeated Oman 8-0 and then defeated Korea 2-0 followed by 9-1 win against Bangladesh.
Korea had lost to India by 2-0 in a group match but they have come strong against Pakistan beating them 2-1 in semis. The match will be played in Ipoh in Malaysia under flood lights. Korea are the defending champions but they had lost 7-2 against India in the 2007 edition final match
