Somesh Upadhyay is a research scholar in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. He is following Indian football ever since he came to know about the ASEAN Cup victory of East Bengal in 2003. He was brought up in Kolkata and is currently in Mumbai, ‘very close to the Cooperage’ as he likes to put it.
