After a busy Champions League schedule during mid-week, Arsenal and Chelsea are getting ready to battle it out in another London derby this weekend. Taking advantage of this battle, Swans can ease their way into the top four following their easy home clash against a defensively rattled Newcastle unit. Liverpool and Manchester United will try to get a little up in the League table as they are enjoying home comfort this gameweek. Here we discuss about a few players who will prove to be effective in fantasy market in coming days.

Defenders and Goal-keepers

Looking at the fixtures, one can argue Swansea, City and Leicester to keep the clean sheets. As Newcastle is having some serious issues with both their back and front-line, an away game at Wales will prove to be too trickier for Alan Pardew’s side. Fabianski (5.0) and co is expected to earn a precious clean sheet after the game.

Aston Villa started this season on a high but that was mostly due to their strong defensive displays. But in the last two weeks, the absence of Vlaar was felt as they succumbed to 3-0 defeats to Arsenal and Chelsea. It will be quite difficult for the Villa attackers to get past the likes of Kompany and Demichelis this time.

Burnley is having some serious issues with their forward line. Sean Dyche’s men were able to score only once in the last 6 games. Leicester can also keep Burnley at bay with their formidable defensive lineup.

As the defenders of the aforementioned three clubs are going to enjoy a plenty points this weekend, defenders from Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool may result in dismay.

Midfielders

This gameweek has enough reasons for going to be another Sigurdsson (6.6) show, which the Swan fans missed for the last two weeks. After a dry two weeks, the Swansea attackers will be looking forward to get back onto scoring sheet.

Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling (8.8) and West Ham’s Stewart Downing (5.6) are the other two names who seem to be poised to award their fantasy managers a lump-some of points this weekend.

Apart from that, Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas (9.5) must be eyeing a goal against his dear old club Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. After a quiet last week, Di Maria (10) will also be ready to fire once again against the Toffees.

Considering contenders for notable mentions, we would like to call up the names of David Silva (9.0), Dusan Tadic (7.8) and Jefferson Montero (5.8).

Forwards

With an enormous lot of strikers in form, it will be a gambling game to choose the dependable striker for your team. Diego Costa (11.1), Ulloa (5.9), Pelle (7.8), Aguero (12.1), Welbeck (7.2) and Dzeko (8.4) are all in tremendous form and found the back of the net in recent times. It will be quite interesting to see which of these strikers bring in better incentives.

Keeping aside those who are in form, we can take a look into the players who are slowly getting into their form and can prove to be vital in days to follow. Falcao (10.9), Lukaku (9.0) and Van Persie (12.4) are the big names in this list. Berahino (5.5) has shown his scoring potentials but he is always a cause of concern due to lack of consistency.

Transfer tips

Wayne Rooney is going to miss his club’s next three Premier League matches and as a direct consequences, one should bring in Falcao, Costa or Welbeck in place of him.

Those who haven’t used yout bit of wildcard yet, you may use it in this week to include Welbeck, as Arsenal is going to have some easy fixtures after this week and the English striker is in outrageous form after his hat-trick against Galatasaray.

Captain tips

Diego Costa (11.1) will be again the first name on the sheet to be the captain. Di Maria (10) and @Aguero (12.1) will be other routine alternatives.

Again as always, if you want to think out of the box, then you can hand-over the captaincy to Sigurdsson (6.6), who is bearing a pretty high chance to score this weekend.
