“Its time for Blackburn Rovers fans to get together”

My previous article on Blackburn Rovers makeover got me comments saying I have lost my mind and so on, I ask WHY? Is it solely because I like the manner in which Venkys are conducting operations at Rovers currently? Its not just me. Many like it too!

For me, its all about Blackburn Rovers as a club, neither solely Venkys, nor the fans constitute the entire clubs’ running. Its about the togetherness that we can help in our own little ways for the club to rise from its recent failures. Its all about how the owners compliment the fans and vice-versa. At first, the fans, tried to get together to solve it all, but the owners never accepted it, but now, the owners are trying to, so what are people out there doing? Disposing their offer of peace and togetherness at this club? REALLY?

This summer, Venkys have looked very intent to make the right signings and help the club make an instant return to where it has always belonged, the Premier League. With the squad we have, in addition to the few more interesting signings, we really seem a force to be feared in the Championship. We certainly have one of the best squads in the Championship. Yes, the manager looks incompetent, but if we don’t find ourselves top after a quarter of the season, under the current Venkys regime, Kean might just get the boot.

One question, I would really like to put forward-
You really wont watch YOUR club play home and away, ONLY, because Steve Kean is at the helm and Venkys run the club? Get real dude! Its YOUR club! And the team desperately needs each one of you out there.
Do you really think Venkys and Kean are worthy enough to let you ruin your emotional attachment with Rovers? Well, if you do, reconsider it! Because I don’t see much sense there!

KEEP THE FAITH!!!

  1. Is the name Author your first name or last name?

Aoplogies accepted on the Dude front

I think you lost me on the ” I would rather support something Indian”. Blackburn belongs to the Blackburn based fans, not bandwagon jumping outsiders. We had that i the Dalgleish years. You can go back to support Manu with the other sycophants when the Venky’s leave, as they will

  2. “Is it solely because I like the manner in which Venkys are conducting operations at Rovers currently? Its not just me. Many like it too!” who likes it fans of other clubs?

When 8,000 fans have been torn away from a football club they love because of awful ownership and not being listened to, you think that they should just forget?

If you have the passion to get on a plane and watch our club every week, go for it! Criticising fans that spend most of their wages to watch the team home and away, which are then being used to support the worst manager in football history is damn right stupid!

  3. Can I ask who are you? The article does not carry a name. Oh, and please dont say “Dude” if you want to relate to Rovers fans

  4. Kean and Venkys have pushed many Rovers fans over the edge. Sadly it looks like more of the same is on its way this coming season. The jury is out on Shebby, but he comes across as another ‘Yes Man’ like Kean

    • Even before the seasons’ rolling on, you are giving your critics? Very unfair. The squad building process looks great!

  5. I think your profile says it all, “A huge Man Utd Fan, and you have developed a bigger passion for rovers” . As you can switch your colours from one team to another like the weather, why would anyone take this opinion seriously?

You cannot even begin to understand what the rovers supporters, town and community has gone through over the last 18 months. Supporters turning down the offer of peace and togetherness? Are you for real? The supporters are still awaiting an apology for the way our club has been dismantled. Do you forget we are now a championship club? Not the top 10 Premiership club we was before Venkys came calling.
Supporters have every right to be angry and a few portugese youngsters are not gonna suddenly make things all the better. Generations of supporters refuse to support this regime and will not return to Blackburn until the manager has gone, and in some cases until Venkys join them.

    • @GlenMullan, Mate, what I hav meant is, this club is yours!
when Venkys are going for it this summer, wid the new regime in place, why not help the club rebuild themselves from the recent failures? There’s absolute no doubt that supporters are angry and rightly so.. In the article i have clearly mentioned,”You really wont watch YOUR club play home and away, ONLY, because Steve Kean is at the helm and Venkys run the club? Get real dude! Its YOUR club! And the team desperately needs each one of you out there.
Do you really think Venkys and Kean are worthy enough to let you ruin your emotional attachment with Rovers? Well, if you do, reconsider it! Because I don’t see much sense there!” And yes, a huge ManUtd fan, until Venkys bought Rovers. FIrst Indian owners at PL. Thats obviously gonna be a change of heart for me. I would rather support something Indian, than MUFC. I dont think my profile says it all about the passion I have for Rovers.AND @Mr.Finch Sorry if that makes u feel offended! Didnt intend to!

  6. I can’t believe this article even got published. Who caused these “recent failures”? And when did they start occuring?…oh wait let me see…20 months ago, when Venkys took over and swiftly replaced an experienced manager with an absolute tool. They let go of John Williams and Tom Finn, guys who had steered our club for the past decade in to being a stable PREMIER LEAGUE club. Took advice off Jerome Anderson and signed his son who has never even played. Once. Lied about getting Junior Hoillet in a contract negotiation, put a release clause in Phil Jones so he could be sold (which he was). Thats just the first 2 months they were incharge.
