Due to the unavailability of grounds in New Delhi, the Indian national football team camp might get shifted to Bangalore instead of Delhi.

Earlier, Wim Koevermans had announced his 37-member list of the probables for Nehru Cup 2012 but the venue for the camp was not decided.

Since the tournament might be held in New Delhi, the camp was supposed to be there. But the Ambedkar Stadium pitch is in poor condition. Similarly, the pitch in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi is inappropriate for holding a camp.

The practice pitches outside JLN stadium were offered to Wim Koevermans but he did not like it. So in all probability, the Indian football camp will be held in SAI Bangalore region centre.

The facilities in the SAI centre were not available earlier due to Olympics preparations but from 1 August onward, they will be available for the footballers.
