Seems like all the good things are happening all at once for the Indian Football League (I League) leaders Salgaocar SC. They are having a dream run in the league and sitting pretty on the top of the table with 2 games still in hand. If that had set the party on for the club, joining of Prateik Babbar will add the glamour quotient to it.
Prateik Babbar had spent quite a lot of time in Goa recently shooting for Dum Maaro Dum and My Friend Pinto. He had trained with the reknowned football club for 3 months prior to that.
His friends say that Prateik is an ardent follower of football and can play both as goalie as well as forward. however, he is better when he plays at the latter position. Prateik is also in talks with a local broker in Goa in order to buy a flat facing riverside.
It would be interesting to see how the deal between Prateik and SSC turns out. If not anything else, the addition of Prateik in the side will add much needed glamour to the club as well as Indian football.
